Overview

What equipment calibration means with QCS

We offer calibration services to industry to certify instruments and establish data integrity, using NIST traceable standard materials and master calibrators.

Our master calibrators are themselves calibrated by accredited calibration laboratories, maintaining an unbroken chain of traceability from your bench instrument all the way to international standards.

Scope of work

What is covered

Each engagement is scoped in writing before any engineer arrives on site.

01

On-site calibration

Our engineers calibrate at your facility, minimising instrument downtime and avoiding transport risk for sensitive equipment.

02

Temperature & humidity

Ovens, incubators, autoclaves, stability chambers, refrigerators, freezers, water baths, cold rooms and data loggers.

03

Mass, volume & dimension

Analytical and precision balances, weights, pipettes, glassware, vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.

04

Pressure, speed & electrical

Pressure gauges, vacuum systems, centrifuges, tachometers, timers, multimeters and process instrumentation.

05

Analytical instruments

HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/Vis spectrophotometers, pH and conductivity meters, dissolution and disintegration apparatus.

06

Annual contracts

Scheduled calibration programs with reminder tracking, so no instrument silently drifts out of its due date.

What you receive

The paperwork is the product.

An engagement is not finished when the engineer leaves — it is finished when your quality unit has the records in hand.

  • Calibration certificate with before/after readings
  • Measurement uncertainty statement
  • Traceability chain to national/international standards
  • Calibration labels and due-date tracking
  • Out-of-tolerance investigation support

FAQs

Equipment Calibration — common questions

Yes. We use NIST-traceable standard materials and master calibrators. Our master calibrators are themselves calibrated by accredited calibration laboratories, which maintains an unbroken chain of traceability from your instrument to international standards.

Most calibrations are performed on site at your facility, which avoids transport risk and minimises downtime. Instruments that require laboratory conditions or repair are handled at our maintenance laboratory in Islamabad.

Typically annually, but the interval depends on the instrument's criticality, usage, manufacturer recommendation and your quality system. We help you set justified intervals and run a reminder schedule so nothing falls past its due date.

We record the as-found readings, notify you immediately and support an out-of-tolerance impact assessment on results produced since the last calibration. Where possible we adjust and re-calibrate; otherwise we quote repair or replacement.
